Move from “Is this okay?” to the right set of questions.
PreClear NIL does not make a transaction decision. Its method helps a newcomer understand the landscape, name the people who have authority, and keep unresolved questions with those decision-makers.
The five-step method
Learn the landscape
Read the plain-language NIL story and current official source map before touching a workflow.
Name the owners
Identify the commercial owner, campus route, official source, and separately retained qualified professional.
Sort the questions
Separate business facts from campus, reporting, state-law, contract, tax, and agent questions.
Route without deciding
Send each question to the institution, official body, or professional that actually owns the answer. Unresolved stays unresolved.
Refresh and correct
Recheck official sources before public release and preserve the prior version, reason, reviewer, and release owner when copy changes.
If the next step requires athlete or deal data, compensation analysis, contract review, eligibility or reporting judgment, agent activity, filing, portal access, negotiation, contact, or representation, it is outside PreClear NIL.
Professional boundary
PreClear NIL is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, financial, or other licensed professional advice. It does not decide eligibility or entitlement. Licensed or specialist-dependent questions must be routed to a verified qualified specialist. A qualified human must review and release every client deliverable in any separately approved future service. Do not submit athlete, contract, compensation, deal, or other sensitive material through this public site.
